ABC Axes Five Shows Including "Happy Endings"
Paring down their lineups to make way for new shows, ABC announced the cancellation of five programs on Friday (May 10).
The critically acclaimed comedy “Happy Endings” never quite caught on in the ratings, and was axed after three seasons.
Though the sitcom starring Damon Wayans Jr., Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, and Zachary Knighton won’t be back on ABC, word is that another network may pick it up.
Keeping an optimistic outlook, Mr. Knighton tweeted, "You guys are rad. We'll be back."
Other shows that will not see another season are “How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life), Reba McEntire’s “Malibu County,” ”Red Widow,” and “Body of Proof.”
