First Trailer for "The Butler" Released
Featuring an all-star cast portraying some of the most recognizable names in American history, the trailer for "The Butler" hit the web on Wednesday (May 8).
Directed by Lee Daniels, the film follows the life of Eugene Allen, who served eight presidents in the White House from 1952-1986.
Starring in the historical drama are Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Liev Schreiber, Robin Williams, Minka Kelly, and even Mariah Carey.
Check out the trailer below, in which Cecil Gaines goes from a cotton farm to the White House, where he gets a front row seat to the civil rights debate. "The Butler" heads to theaters on October 18th.
