Lady Gaga Returns to the Stage After Hip Surgery
Choosing to help out a friend for her first performance since February, Lady Gaga showed up at Brian Newman's gig at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City on Thursday (May 9).
The "Born This Way" singer joined her go-to jazz trumpeter on stage for a rendition of "Someone to Watch Over Me."
Back in February, the 27-year-old songstress had to cancel the rest of her Born this Way Ball tour for hip surgery after tearing her right hip during a concert.
Grateful for his pal's addition to his show, Brian tweeted, "Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight an singing a song!!"
