It’s going to be another amazing year for the CMT Music Awards, as the competition is especially fierce this time around.
During the nominee announcement today (May 6) Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan all scored a total of four nods.
All three are up for Video of the Year, though they’ll have to defeat Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Little Big Town if they hope to win.
As for CMT Performance of the Year, Miranda, Eric, and Luke will compete against Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, and Rascal Flatts & Journey.
Kristen Bell and Jason Aldean will handle the hosting duties when the 2013 CMT Music Awards air live on June 5th from Nashville, Tennessee.
