Drake Bell Talks Amanda Bynes
He spent a few years working with Amanda Bynes on “The Amanda Show,” and Drake Bell isn’t worried about the actress’ erratic behavior.
During his appearance at Atlantic City’s Harrah’s Resort this weekend, Bell told press, “Amanda and I are close… I talk to her every day. She’s a sweetheart. I had lunch with her yesterday, and she’s brilliant. She’s good, and she’s healthy.”
Bell also noted that he has tried to get Bynes to mellow out a bit. “I’m like ‘dude, you come off crazy.’ She’s like, ‘I know, but I don’t mean to. I just changed the way I look.’”
As for claims that she’s strung out on drugs, Drake shared, “Anytime I’ve ever been with Amanda, she’s totally coherent, totally there, totally everything.”
