Though the original was one of the biggest comedy hits of the '90s, Warner Bros. decided to drop plans for a sequel to "Dumb & Dumber."
Even the commitments of original stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels and director Peter Farrelly were insufficient to propel it forward.
In the sequel, Lloyd and Harry hit the road to try and find Harry's illegitimate daughter for a kidney transplant.
Fans hoping for a reunion can cross their fingers, as the Farrellys are now looking for a new financier and distributor for the project.
