Emma Watson Scores Lead In “Queen Of The Tearling”
She got her start in the fantasy film genre, and Emma Watson will return to her roots in the forthcoming movie “Queen of the Tearling.”
The “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” dame signed on to play Princess Kelsea Glynn, based on a book series by author Erika Johansen.
According to a report, the “Game of Thrones” –style series will consist of seven books, the first of which is slated to release sometime in 2014.
Per the synopsis, “The story is set in the wake of an environmental disaster, in the reign of an evil Red Queen. In order to reclaim her deceased mother’s crown, Glynn is tasked with defeating the Queen.”
