Justin Bieber: Getting Sued for $15K
He’s no stranger to legal drama, and Justin Bieber is the target of a new lawsuit filed by a paparazzo from Miami, Florida.
According to the court documents, Jeffrey Binion is claiming that the “Believe” singer ordered his security guard Hugo Hesny to attack him outside The Hit Factory studio earlier this month.
Hesney and a few other guys supposedly snatched the memory card out of Binion’s camera after flashing a gun and threatening him.
The suit says, "By instructing Defendant Hesny to forbily take Plaintiff's memory card from his camera, Defendant Bieber intended to cause harmful or offensive contact with the Plaintiff, and a harmful and offensive contact with the Plaintiff resulted from Bieber's conduct."
Furthermore, Binion’s attorney told press, "Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's campaign of violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions."
“No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber's shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law."
Jeffrey is seeking $15,000 from Hugo and $15,000 from Justin for the pain and suffering stemming from the incident.
