LeAnn Rimes’ New Record Absolutely Bombs

She’s been out of the game for a minute, and LeAnn Rimes' hopes of a musical career comeback are looking pretty grim.

The country songstress’ new album Spitfire only sold 10,798 copies in its first week of release, landing her at a disappointing #36 on the Billboard charts.Rimes scored a few really high ratings with her new ditties (3/4 from Us Weekly and 4/4 from USA Today), but it seems her questionable personal choices over the past few years have rendered her former fans uninterested in what she has to say anymore.

Of her decision to address personal issues on the album, LeAnn told press, "I felt I had nothing to lose by telling the truth. I'd been so quiet about everything, it was like ripping a piece of tape off my mouth."
