Nelly Joins Florida Georgia Line to Perform at 2013 CMT Awards
He recently released a hit country collaboration tune with Florida Georgia Line so it was no surprise that Nelly was on hand to perform at the 2013 CMT Awards on Wednesday (June 5).
Bringing a different kind of sound to the annual shindig, the "Country Grammar" rapper took the stage like a seasoned pro as he belted out the chart topping remix to "Cruise."
Although the alternate version of the song was by far a success, the original version of the track was nominated for three awards this evening.
Hoping to battle out their competitors to take home new hardware, Florida Georgia Line is up for Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year.
