Paris Hilton Signs with Cash Money Records

Ready to resume her music career, Paris Hilton signed with Cash Money Records on Wednesday (May 22) to record her second album.
The 32-year-old socialite spoke about her yet-to-be recorded tunes saying, "This is a lot different than my first album. It's really going to be house music."
Birdman, who co-founded the label which touts such talent as Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne, welcomed Ms. Hilton to the group with “Welcome @ParisHilton to tha Family. RichgangRichgirl. YMCMB.”
Elated to get started, Paris replied, “Thanks BO$$! Happy to be apart of the family. #PH❤YMCMB.”
The “Simple Life” star’s first album, the self-titled Paris, was released on Heiress Records and was released in August of 2006.
