He’s been working overtime promoting his new film “After Earth,” and last night (May 20) Will Smith showed up at “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
The “I Am Legend” hunk flashed a peace sign to the paparazzi as he headed inside the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City sporting a blue satin suit with a red button-up shirt.
Once inside, Will walked out on stage while Paul Shaffer and the house band played Smith’s classic hit “Summertime.” And that’s all it took for him to grab a mic and join in the fun.
Previously Smith told press he’s considering a return to the rap game after hanging out with Kanye West earlier this year. "I might get the bug. I'm not gonna do it unless I'm truly inspired."
