Giving 80’s kids another chance to relive their childhoods, a new
full trailer for “The Smurfs 2” was released by Sony Pictures Animation
on Wednesday (June 19).
The animated adventure is described as follows: The Smurfs team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel since she knows a secret spell that can turn the evil sorcerer's newest creation - creatures called the Naughties - into real Smurfs.
Voiced by stars such as Sofia Vergara, Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, “The Smurfs 2” lalala’s its way in to theaters on July 31.
