Box Office: "Iron Man 3" Untouchable on Top

Starting off its debut in theaters in style, "Iron Man 3" looks to be unbeatable at the box office for the weekend of May 3-5, 2013.
The Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow-fronted Disney/Marvel picture grabbed a record $68.3 million on Friday and looks to end the weekend with $165-170 million total.
Sliding into second spot on Friday was last week's number one, the action film "Pain & Gain," starring Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg, which grabbed $2.3 million for the first night of the weekend.
Rounding out the top five in Friday earnings estimates were the Jackie Robinson bio-pic "42" ($1.8 million) in third, the Tom Cruise sci-fi flick "Oblivion" ($1.7 million) in fourth, and the comedy "The Big Wedding" ($1.2 million) in fifth.
