Ja Rule new concept I’m Free!
He’s been locked up in a New York correctional facility since July 2011, but as of this week Ja Rule is a free man again.
Originally sentenced to two years in the clink, the chart-topping rapper managed to get out of Ray Brook Federal Prison a couple months early thanks to good luck and good behavior.
Ja Rule will remain on home confinement until July 28th, as his wife reportedly picked him up around 10am Tuesday morning (May 7). Also known as Jeffrey Atkins, Rule was found guilty of attempted criminal possession of a weapon and tax evasion (he didn’t pay any from 2004-2006).
