Michael Douglas Blames Oral Sex for Throat Cancer
He had a public battle with throat cancer back in August of 2010 and Michael Douglas has cited performing oral sex on women as the cause of the ailment.
During an interview with The Guardian, the “Basic Instinct” hunk indicated that his cigar smoking and drinking actually had very little to do with his illness.
Michael explained, “Without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV [human papillomavirus], which actually comes about from cunnilingus."
He added, "I did worry if the stress caused by my son's incarceration didn't help trigger it. But yeah, it's a sexually transmitted disease that causes cancer. And if you have it, cunnilingus is also the best cure for it."
