Mumford & Sons Bass Player Hospitalized
They’re in the middle of a North American Tour, however Mumford & Sons will be sidelined for a bit due to medical issues.
Bassist Ted Dwane was diagnosed with “a blood clot on the surface of his brain,” forcing the band to cancel their show in Dallas, Texas.
Dwane reported feeling ill in recent days and finally went to the doctor who found the potentially life-threatening condition.
However, all should be good. A rep told press, “Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.”
The “I Will Wait” rockers have also postponed shows in Woodlands, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana, though the gigs will be rescheduled “and announced as quickly as we can.”
