She was doing her best to redeem herself after admitting to using racial slurs, but it doesn't look like Paula Deen's employer is feeling the sympathy.
On Friday (June 21), the network released a statement, explaining, “Food Network will not renew Paula Deen’s contract when it expires at the end of this month.”
Amid the news of her getting the axe from work, Paula had
released a video apology for the recent negative news following her
"inappropriate, hurtful language.”
The above language is referring to a court deposition that leaked earlier this week where the foodie admitted to using racial slurs including the "N word."
