Rita Ora: Off To Malta!
She’s quite the frequent flyer these days, and Rita Ora caught an outbound flight at Heathrow International Airport in London, England this morning (June 25).
The “How We Do” singer donned a bright getup as she prepared for a trip to Malta where she’ll headline the Isle of MTV Malta Music Festival at Il Fosos Square in Floriana tomorrow (June 26).
Rita recently told press that she has an interesting quandary in
her life as of late- “Beyoncé is this massive star, but she's incredibly
humble. But it's weird because even though I love her, she's my boss's
wife.”
As for how she scored a spot on Jay-Z’s roster, Ora gushed, “I was in Boots buying contact lens solution and my mobile went off. It was Jay-Z's partner at Roc Nation asking me what I was up to. He asked if I'd been to America and I said, 'No.' Then he said, ‘I'm putting you on a flight to New York tomorrow. I practically had a nervous breakdown when I arrived in New York because I was being taken straight to the Roc Nation Christmas party.”
“I was wearing an old T-shirt and leggings. I had barely any make-up on. I was unbelievably nervous, especially when this big crowd parted and I was face to face with Jay-Z.”
