Alessandra Ambrosio & Anja: Santa Monica Mates
Gearing up for a little mother-daughter bonding, Alessandra Ambrosio and her girl Anja showed up on the streets of Santa Monica, California yesterday afternoon (June 25).
Making for a truly great experience, the Brazilian bombshell and her darling daughter got their hair and nails done before heading over to Pinkberry for some delicious frozen yogurt.
Alessandra recently debuted a brand new blog called A By A to
promote her Alé by Alessandra product line, and her first post is all
about her homeland.
Ambrosio wrote, "When we think of Brazil, sexy swimsuits, and easy, breezy style come to mind. After all, isn't that the perfect attire to take a stroll along Rio's coastline or jet set to Florianopolis for a weekend? From sherbert colored sunsets to amethyst spoonfuls of açaí, Brazil is a delectable all-you-can-eat fashion-inspiring buffet."
As for the new lifestyle brand, Alessandra explained, "This is not a hobby for me. I've been a fashion model for 15 years and designing is just an extension of my career. I still plan on modeling lingerie, but at the same time this is a business transition that I plan to have around for a long time. I know what I like and what I want to see. I want to be satisfied just as much as the customer. I'm creating a brand that's everything I am passionate about and have experience in, from growing up in Brazil, traveling around the world and moving [to the US] five years ago."
