George Clooney Leads the Cast of "The Monuments Men" on Set

Loaded up with equipment and weapons, the cast of "The Monuments Men" filmed off the south coast of England on Wednesday (June 5).
Stepping off their water transport onto the beach, George Clooney, Bill Murray, John Goodman, and Jean Dujardin made for a motley crew.

Written and directed by the "Descendents" star, the WWII-era film follows a crew of art historians and museum curators who unite to recover renowned works of art stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them.
With Matt Damon and Cate Blanchett providing additional star power to the cast, "The Monuments Men" will likely make a big splash at the box office on December 18th.
