Sarah Jessica Parker: Apollo Spring Gala Gorgeous
She always knows where the party is, and on Monday (June 10) Sarah Jessica Parker showed up at the 2013 Apollo Spring Gala in New York City.
Looking festive in a blue-and-white polka-dot sundress, the "Sex and the City" sweetheart posed for the shutterbugs awaiting her arrival outside the legendary Apollo Theater before heading inside to enjoy the event, which included performances by Erykah Badu and Mary J. Blige, among others.
The evening was hosted by Wayne Brady, and celebrated the induction of Chaka Kahn into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame.
Per their website, the Apollo Theater is a not-for-profit organization that honors the influence and advances of the contributions of African American artists and emerging creative voices across cultural and artistic media.
Proceeds from the Spring Gala benefit the Apollo’s year-round world-class performances, innovative education initiatives, and meaningful community programs.
